The Strand Building itself is a converted 1940’s Art Deco building, previously London Electricity Board HQ. The architects have managed to create a truly unique modern living environment with exquisite gardens without losing any of the original art deco charm.
The gardens alone are a wonderful sight; the first prize in the 'Hackney in Bloom' competition was awarded to Paul Howarth for the gardens.
The garden also features a wonderful fountain designed by Humphrey Bowden.
